This check classifies your exit IP the way many websites do: is it residential, datacenter or mobile, and does it look like a proxy, a VPN or a Tor exit node? We use IP-type intelligence and network (ASN) heuristics against the egress we observe.
The flags describe how your connection is likely perceived — not a judgement, just how automated systems tend to label that address.

Sites use proxy, VPN and datacenter flags for access control, pricing and fraud scoring. If your VPN exit is on a well-known hosting ASN, expect more captchas, blocks or “unusual traffic” prompts.

How to read your result
A datacenter or VPN flag means services can readily tell you are not on a home connection; a residential-looking exit blends in better. A Tor flag means the exit is a known Tor node, which many sites block outright.
